This Christmas was different from the other since becoming a mom. There is something special about having a boy and a girl to shop for. We had a great time setting up princess castles, and train tables.
On Christmas morning, we woke our son up and told him Santa came – he ran out into the living room, and was completely in awe of everything. It took him a minute to wake up, but as soon as he did, he ran to the tree and yelled “SANTA CAME!!!” – this was a first for us.
It was also the first year that he knew how to open his gifts, and in between opening each gift, he had to open up his new toy. “My toys!”
Our daughter was in new toy bliss, she loves presents and helped open everything! As you can see from this smile, someone has a new favorite holiday:

We have been having lots of fun playing with all the new toys from Santa and all of our thoughtful family members. Now…we just have to figure out where to put all of this stuff!!
