About The Blog
Meg’s A Mommy! is a blog of my journey through motherhood. On my blog I share stories about my family, and conduct family oriented product reviews and giveaways. I began this blog in 2009 as I was learning to be a new mom to my first baby to reach out to the strong mommy community for support. We reside in Michigan, and would love to highlight anything pertaining to favorite state! During the last 4 years of blogging, my readers have come to trust me to be an authentic voice of a true mother and a reliable source of all things mommy!
About Us
Meg
I am a 30 something wife, mother of 2, and Freelance Web Designer from Michigan. I love all things geeky (video games, coding, reading) and have an unhealthy obsession with the BBC (Doctor Who, and Sherlock!). Just like me, my life isn’t normal, but I’m okay with that. My reasons are below…
Logan
Our son Logan was born on a beautiful afternoon 3 years ago, on Cinco de Mayo. He’s been the life of our party ever since. He loves jumping on his trampoline, drawing, and especially loves playing his iPad. (Yes HIS iPad, he stole it from me about a year ago. =D) Even though he has trouble communicating his needs/wants/or feelings – he can read and word he sees, knows his ABC’s, counts to 100 and beyond and can sing any song he hears. He is very visual, and can name any shape you draw or color you draw it with. He has always lived in his own little world, and we have spent the last three years trying to reach him, which has been both frustrating and fascinating at the same time. But you know what? We wouldn’t want him to be any other way.
Maddie
Our daughter Madeline is 1 and is my sweet angel. She loves her mama, shaking things that make noise, and eating. She also loves never being put down. =D She likes to wander and explore, and loves to hear the sound of her own voice. She gives big open mouthed kisses, says “Hiyee!” to anyone she meets, and is trying out new words everyday. I tout her as my ‘easy baby’ – meaning that she is pretty easy going compared to how her big bro was when he was a baby. We feel very blessed to have her in our life, and her brother loves her immensely (even though it took a long time for him to warm up to her, but we can tell he digs her.)
Ingus
I am also married (8 years!) to a pretty cool husband, who works hard for our family so that I can stay home and take care of our beautiful children. He likes web development, and Warmachine. But most importantly he loves us!

This blog is about our family, which includes our journey through an autism diagnosis, and beyond.
